By placing an order on this website, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Order Processing & Fulfillment Terms

Production & Processing Times
Fiberglass/Carbon Fiber and certain kits typically require 2 to 4 weeks for fulfillment. During periods of normal inventory and production, many items may ship the same day. Processing times vary by season, inventory levels, and order volume. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before placing your order.

  • Standard processing times may vary depending on demand.
  • Fiberglass components and certain kits may require 2–4 weeks for fulfillment.  They can also ship same day.  Depends on season and availability.  Please contact us if this is a rush situation.
  • Custom orders and special requests may require additional time.

We do not guarantee immediate shipment on any order.

Order Priority
All orders are fulfilled in the order received. We do not prioritize orders based on requested timelines unless prior arrangements have been made and confirmed.

Delays & Availability
Delays may occur due to production schedules, material availability, or high order volume. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these potential delays.

Extended Delays / Store Credit Policy
If an order cannot be fulfilled within a reasonable timeframe (exceeding 6 weeks), we reserve the right to offer store credit as resolution.

Exceptions, Cancellations & Fees
Orders are considered final once placed, as materials may be ordered or production may begin immediately. Any exception to cancel or modify an order is made at our sole discretion.

  • Approved cancellations or returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.
  • If a refund is issued to the original form of payment, a 10% processing and handling fee will be deducted.

Authorized Payment Methods

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all billing information submitted is accurate and complete.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your payment methods and account credentials. Madcow Rocketry is not responsible for unauthorized purchases resulting from your failure to safeguard your account, payment information, or devices.
  • Orders placed using valid payment credentials and approved by the payment processor may be processed and fulfilled. If a payment is later disputed as unauthorized, we reserve the right to provide order records, payment verification, communications, shipping information, pickup records, IP address information, and any other relevant evidence to the payment processor or issuing bank to demonstrate fulfillment of the order.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks or false claims of unauthorized use may be reported to the appropriate payment processor, financial institution, shipping carrier, and, where appropriate, law enforcement.

Order Verification and Chargebacks

  • To help prevent fraud, we reserve the right to verify customer identity, billing information, shipping addresses, and payment authorization before fulfilling an order.
  • If an order has been shipped, delivered, picked up, or otherwise provided in accordance with the information supplied by the purchaser, the customer remains responsible for the payment. Filing a chargeback does not cancel an order or relieve the customer of their obligation to pay for products that have been received or collected.
  • Customers agree to contact us first to resolve any billing or order concerns before initiating a payment dispute with their financial institution.
  • Initiating a chargeback does not cancel an order or relieve the customer of the obligation to pay for products that have been manufactured, shipped, delivered, or picked up.

Shipping & Delivery

Once an order has shipped, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.

  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed shipments.
  • If a shipment is lost, a claim will be filed on your behalf with the carrier.
  • Resolution is subject to the carrier’s claims process and policies.

        Shipping Address
        Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays, returned shipments, or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.

        Agreement to Terms
        By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

        Frequently Asked Questions:

        Do you ship to my country?

        Please create an account by clicking the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. During signup we'll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.

        At this time, Madcow Rocketry ships merchandise only to locations within the United States, Canada, Australia, UK and Germany. Contact us prior to ordering if you would like to make special arrangements for shipping to areas outside of these countries. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

        Important: For our international customers, the system will try to calculate shipping to your area as best it can when you check out. If the system miscalculates your shipping, we will contact you if we need to recalculate shipping to your location. Please note, we charge actual shipping to your location and do not add any handling fees on our end. If we have to raise the shipping cost and you decide it is too much, we will cancel your order and issue you store credit for other items. Generally, the system does pretty good at estimating these costs, but sometimes shipping multiple kits to countries that require us to ship in smaller multiple boxes can increase costs.

        What do I do if I receive a defective item?

        If you believe you have received a defective item, please contact us by phone or email within 30 days of purchase before returning the product. Defective items may be repaired, replaced, exchanged, or credited at the sole discretion of Madcow Rocketry after inspection.

        Madcow Rocketry is not responsible for damage resulting from improper assembly, modification, misuse, crash damage, normal wear, or operation contrary to the product instructions.

        How much is my shipping?

        Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information.  Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.

        If you are placing an order and shipping seems off, please contact us at order@madcowrocketry and ask to be invoiced separately for shipping.

        Important: For our international customers, the system will try to calculate shipping to your area as best it can when you check out.         Store Pickup

        If you select Store Pickup, please specify your desired pickup location in the order notes. If no pickup location is provided, we may contact you for clarification. If we are unable to reach you, your order may be shipped to the address on file at your expense.

        Orders not picked up within 30 days, and for which no alternative arrangements have been made, may be considered abandoned and returned to inventory without refund or store credit.

        Rush Orders

        If an order is for a special event, like a birthday, or is needed by a specific date, please let us know in the notes.  We will try to accomodate these requests, however there is no guarantee and for orders that require us to change our manufacturing schedule, a rush order fee of up to 20% may apply.

        Refused Shipments

        Orders that are refused, returned to sender, or undeliverable due to customer error may be refunded less the original shipping charges, return shipping charges (if applicable), and the standard 20% restocking fee.

        How do I return my product?

        Any items returned for a store credit must be returned within 30 days of purchase and must be unused and undamaged and in resalable condition. There will be a restocking fee of 25% for refunded sales. You must contact us via e-mail or phone before you ship the returned items, and we recommend that you insure your package as we will not refund items unless we receive them in undamaged and resalable condition.  Sorry, but we can not offer refund/credit for sale, clearance or custom items.  Sorry, carbon fiber, fiberglass and custom items are not returnable because they are custom cut to order.

        I received the wrong product.

        If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product.

        What is your return policy?

        All sales are considered final. Any return, cancellation, exchange, or refund is granted solely at the discretion of Madcow Rocketry.

        Approved returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase and must be unused, undamaged, and in resalable condition. Approved returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. Refunds issued to the original form of payment are also subject to a 10% payment processing and handling fee.

        Custom products, fiberglass components, carbon fiber products, clearance items, and special-order items are not eligible for return.

        When will my order ship?

        Madcow Rocketry makes every effort to ship your order quickly.   However, sometimes large orders, part shortages, or custom sizes can cause us to take longer to fill your order. We will contact you if we expect to take longer than two weeks to fill your order.

        Please see each individual item page for more information on the availability of each item. Also, after placing your order, you may click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
