  1. A nice performer

Posted by NZ Rocketeer on 25th May 2017

I modified this kit a bit to get a more conventional dual deploy system and I did tip to tip glassing of the fins to make sure they never came off. A lovely flyer. I have not tried to make it aerodynamic, but it made 4,600 feet and Mach 1.05 on a J425R. No damage and I am getting it ready to fly on a K or an L.

  2. Nice minimum 54

Had good flights on H's and I's, on a J it needs a tracker. I unfortunately lost it.

  3. Little Ripper of a Rocket!

Posted by Stewart on 5th May 2016

I constructed one of these about 18 months back, painted it orange, and called it "Orange Revolution". Set up as dual deploy (2 x Ravens) with telemetry (TeleMega). Had a great flight at Thunda Downunder 2015. First flight was on a CTI L640DT. Figures from it were:
Altitude: 21512', Max Velocity: Mach 1.8, Max Accel: 47G
Flew it last year for its second flight but someone pushed the button before I had the GSE booted for tracking. It is temporarily lost, so I need to buy another one.
    Nice!
