  1. Good little dual deploy kit

Posted by NZ Rocketeer on 4th Apr 2016

The kit is easy to build and has a nice dual deploy altimeter bay. There is some thought you have to do on how to get everything into the altimeter bay, but I did. There is some filing of the fin slots to get the fins to sit properly, but no real issues. I took this out for its first flight on Sunday. It went up 1,380 feet on an Aerotech G77-7R. Unfortunately the main did not deploy (my fault) an it came down on the 10" drogue. The nose cone was damaged on hitting a rock, but the rest of the rocket is ready to go again. I will be flying this again soon and buying a bigger version shortly.
