Great custom-build nose cone.

I got this nose cone to use for a custom scratch build while the tube is just under 3"... (about 2.89"). I sanded the ribs off of it which made it such a perfect cone for the application. This cone is very tough as well. It is so tough that it's seemingly like sanding fiberglass that's how strong this nose cone is!. Also the thinner tip of this cone makes for a greater 'aero' effect than that of a LOC nose cone

Loose fit

This doesn't fit well in the 3" G12 airframe. I used a lot of tape to even eliminate the wiggle. Its not necessarily worth it if the good white nose cones (this one is solid black) from LOC precision aren't sold out. The good thing about this one though is it looks like they sanded the seams in the plastic a little.
In short: some fitting required.
