As many others, I purchased this kit as the foundation for a Level 3 Certification Build It's a great looking design. The quality of the components was excellent. I found the payload bay was just the right size to fit a 25' Kevlar cord and Top Flite 84" Standard parachute. I did, however, improve the bevel on the fins to make it perfectly straight. I found the fin slots were slightly off, but easily corrected by sanding +/- 0.015" corrections to the fin slots and tacking them in while held aligned with the booster tube. My Level 3 flight went perfectly on an AeroTech RMS 75/5120 M1297W. My build was 26.1 lbs on the pad with this motor. The stability margin was 2.7 calibers without adding any weight.. Thus this kit is a very well balanced design. The boost was straight up to 13,116' AGL.

Purchased this kit for my Level 3 Certification. Went together well and flew beautifully. The forward airframe section is a bit short, but still worked fine for my parachute. Thanks Madcow for a great rocket.
